A tenant and administration building of the former Danube Bank is a typical example of a modern urban palace. It occupies the corner within a city block in the historical centre where the old Fisherman's gate was originally located. It is almost square in the floor plan, with a single underground floor and and six storeys above grade. At the street level, there is an L-shaped passage from which small businesses were accessed, including Bratislava branch of the Wiener Werkstaette. Like in the case of the old Schoen store, architects used wide French windows with railings of wire mesh, which gives both buildings a typical matter-of-fact character. Although the volume of the structure had to respond to surrounding historic environment, the purist facade remained smooth. The street level was rebuilt in 1993 by design of B. Somora.
